Class work, 2024

My Favorite Things is a personal piece meant to invoke what I see as the essence of raw childhood. It replicates elementary school projects and my childhood love for throwing together different craft items. The latter gives the piece my perspective of the feeling of chaotic child-like energy. My artwork also features the things I loved growing up. From the ones featured to the shirt design being a subtle nod to Lalaloopsy.

This piece was constructed in a scrapbook-esque matter by sticking elements onto a cartolina-covered A2 illustration board. The drawings are meant to represent photos that would have been used on actual school projects.

This artwork was displayed at Memento Vitae: A Childhood Memories Art Exhibition under Little Dreamers from May 31 to June 9, 2024. It took place at Homezone, Alabang Town Center, in the City of Muntinlupa. Unlike some other pieces present at the event, it was not put up for sale.

Project under Little Dreamers, 2024

I worked as an artist under Little Dreamers in order to raise funds for Memento Vitae: A Childhood Memories Art Exhibition. Our paid services include both on-the-spot photo booth-styled sketches and inked commissions based on the customer's request. I used pencils and pens for these outputs.

A cute and colorful chibi-styled character with rounded shapes and bright colors. This character is themed around baking and desserts. Most specifically, chocolate cornets. The character turnaround sheet and additional showcase sketches were drawn using pencils.

A colorful hand drawn character turnaround using pencils. This was used as the basis of a 3D model for my 3D Modeling class's final exam.
